The app functions adequately but I’ve received repeated notifications on the same ‘new property’ every five minutes for the last hour. So annoying. Definitely disabling alerts now, which is a bummer because I would like to know when new property is available in my area.

We’ve been looking for a house for about a year. Once a week I roam all the property sites and key in the search specifics over and over. Now, I do it once and it comes to my phone as soon as a new property is added. It’s brilliant. Tx PP for making life easier.

Why are you not able to view the property’s in landscape????? Come on guys seriously!

This version of the app is supposedly a brand new version from the ground up..are you kidding me! This is the biggest load! Good luck if you play a video within the app and try to go back, your screwed and even if you quit the app running and return, it takes you back to the video and no way to return. The UI is terrible and the developer should probably test the app before releasing. This is a joke!

The 'Western Cape' link is broken...annoying. Meh!

The previous native app was far better, this new hybrid app doesn't work well and has no flow, no animations, views just appear etc .

Nothing works in the app.. No selection of location or the app finding your location therefor I could not view any property..

Doesn't even load

When a search criteria isn't entered the app will show the error but doesn't have a button to confirm and close the messages. The messages won't go away and then the app must be closed within the iPhone control pannel. The app is much better on iPad.

What is the point if having filters if they don't work? I'll stick to Property24.

The software needs to be updated, it doesn't fit on my Iphone screen. Too small. Also the app seems to basic cant perform required functions without searching alloy

Slow to start up, filters badly and doesn't show the right properties based on the search criteria. Also, favourites don't work Absolute waste of data. Should be removed off the App Store.

App keeps "resetting" - throwing you out, then you need to start all over! Not really enjoyable.

No seriously, it's kak. Don't waste your overpriced South African data downloading it and rather buy a chappie or download Property24's app.

It's a shame, as this app has much potential. Filters are not so great as properties "not" meeting requirements are still shown. Many of the rentals are difficult to determine a monthly rate as they have very high daily rates that are not specified as daily. Glad to remove it.

This app does not filter properties properly, and shows a lot less results than the actual website... Waste of time.

I enjoy the app. Always running smoothly on my Iphone. One problem, the properties dont get updated or removed from site if they are no longer available!😁

I find that the properties on the app are not updated at all. The app is not structured in a friendly way.

I've tried the app and it's generally good but what I hate is when I see something that looks good and I call to find out about it and the property is already sold - and this has happened EVERY time I have found something worth wanting to find out more about. I could also make a nice database of every home that's NOT for sale - what the heck is the point?! Who is repsonsible for keeping the database updated? I thought this app could help save me time in looking for a property - instead it has wasted my time.

Keeps freezing and just closes

No place to log in to change or manage your ads

New version filter still does not work. Select 4 bedroom houses and it still comes up with 2bed townhouses. It would also be handy to filter out agent listings. What is the point of private property again? Fix the filter please

Gets me frustrated

This app crashes more than a drunk driver in a three wheeled car. Functionality is ok, but restarting the app every 5 mins is frustrating!

It's too basic for what it is. There is very little advanced architecture behind this and very frustrating for a user that's above the level of a 3rd grader. They need to work on their 2.0 version right away, this one is embarrassing for their developer. Oops, apparently this is the 3rd version, what a money pit of dev time!

App is constantly crashing and the search criteria does not work!

Not much good if I know the reference number and this app doesn't have the option to fast track my request. I have to browse all the properties in that area until I find my reference number Please add this function to make life far simpler for your users

This is awesome! Love the radius search and the augmented reality is really amazing!

I opened this app and just like the previous version it crashed immediately. Property24's app is better.

Much improved. Need to narrow down the radius search to 1km increments.

Absolutely awesome app! Been looking for a place and the app made it so much easier! I love it that we are getting more local apps!

This app has some potential but it's not ready for prime time yet. It crashes frequently and often returns incorrect search results. Scrolling is sluggish and slowed down by the images. With a little bit more rounding this app can get a higher rating, but for now you're better off going to the website directly.

So glad to see more SA apps coming out. Love this app and think it's extremely useful. It does crash alot and not easy to search for what you looking for. Definitely worth downloading though.

Search is useless. I searched for cape town and the properties that came up were all in polokwane if the "location" setting was on or in Durban if it was off. The privateproperty.mobi site is much more useful.
